Biography

Hussein is a licensed medical doctor and accomplished healthcare executive with over a decade of experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and digital health. He brings a rare combination of clinical understanding and regulatory expertise to the Business Hub Asia team.

Dr. Hussein has led complex product registration processes with Indonesia’s Ministry of Health (MoH), BPOM, and CDAKB, including for IVDs, digital health platforms, and medical devices. His experience spans from multinational corporations to mentoring startups through the Austrade Landing Pad program. With a deep knowledge of market access, stakeholder mapping, and healthcare compliance, he helps international companies navigate regulatory hurdles and scale successfully across Southeast Asia.
